Jordan Kennedy is, in several aspects, the Perfect Comic Book Villain: she has a Properly Traumatic Past that supplies Dramatic Reasons for her sociopathic behavior. She has a Hatred of Authority that stems from her bad experience with government agencies; being raised in a research facility and later having to fend off for herself left her with a rather skewed (some would say unhinged) moral compass: Jordan will build anything for anyone who pays her price, at the same time being fiercely protective of the few people she eventually cares for.
